Yoga and Mindfulness at Dunstan
Jamie Leeburg, a PE teacher at Dunstan, and her teammate, Mark Fabian, have had success with Move Through Yoga. Jamie’s testimonial is below.
“When we first opted into the Move Through Yoga program first semester, I was slightly concerned. Yoga is definitely out of my (our) comfort zone and I have never considered myself particularly flexible. In spite of my (our) trepidation, we jumped in with both feet. Our instructor is amazing! We learn from her the first hour and then Mark and I take turns teaching the lesson to the rest of our classes throughout the day. We talk to our students about the importance of balance, flexibility and core strength and how important those are for physical fitness and every day activities. Our students are embracing the practice and we celebrate Yoga Wednesday each week.”
